Vincent Dignan – Founder

A year ago Vincent had a dream he should make a ‘new magazine for writers’ which eventually became the site you see now. He came up with the name after brainstorming words that ‘would look good on a T-shirt Lil Wayne would wear’.

Daniel Sobey-Harker – Social & Digital Marketing Manager

Daniel oversees the online marketing and social arm of Planet Ivy. Statistics, data, and parsing through tremendous amounts of information are tasks that he actually enjoys. With 6 years of digital marketing experience Daniel is responsible for making sure that you see and hear about us whether you want to or not.

Barney Guiton – Editor

Barney oversees all content on the site, keeps everyone on their toes and also heads up the daft headline division. He is a serial blogger, former English teacher, and has had articles published in the Independent and Huffington Post. He is also embarking on a promising side career as a wedding DJ.

Abby Moss – Deputy Editor

Responsible for content across the site, overseeing the correct use of the Queen’s English. Previous experience includes expert free-loading into gigs, festivals, etc, all under the guise of journalism. Other people remind her that she has an English degree when they need her to spell a tricky word.

Ben Holt – News Editor

Ben is in charge of all the news stuff on the site, keeping the writers busy with weird and wonderful stories from around the globe. He also talks on the radio on the weekends and spends 50% of his life eating chicken.

Lucy Draper – Assistant Editor

Lucy is an English Literature graduate and assistant and UK editor at Planet Ivy. She escaped her job in PR last year and has been working at Planet Ivy ever since. She commissions and edits UK articles, finds interesting and funny people to interview and generally makes things happen.

Brogan Morris – Film Editor

As an obsessive of both the big and small screen, Brogan is overseer for Planet Ivy’s film and TV content. He is a screenwriter in his spare time, and has had articles published on Huffington Post, WhatCulture and Jigsaw Lounge.

Tristan James – Tech Editor

Tristan is the antipodean editor of the tech section. His roles include coming up with ideas for articles, arguing the side of absurdity and taking his clothes off at any given occasion. It was while studying Journalism in Western Australia that he developed a passion for writing, cheap liqueur and cheaper company.

Ed Bradley – Gaming Editor

Ed has finally admitted to having a video game addiction after years of denial. The twelfth step to recovery involves editing the Gaming section at Planet Ivy and writing about his daily struggles with the illness.

Carla Jean – Business Operations

Our very own in house Canadian, Carla, is the most organized and confident person we’ve ever met. Her exuberant spirit and ability to multi-task keeps our Planet Ivy Troops in line. She also plays synth-pop in an all girls band and eats maple syrup covered bacon on Sundays.

Lewis spent his formative years in the suburbs circuit-breaking keyboards & learning to program, and guides our general site-wide strategy.
